Kurt was amazing. I first met Kurt when he was a new member of the Los Angeles County Grand Jury in 1975. I was their Legal Advisor.
Kurt quickly found that Harris County, Texas had a "One Day, One Trial" jury program. He gathered the info, and it made sense. Kurt proposed the "One Day One Trial" jury selection program for Los Angeles County. It took a while, but, his efforts were accepted.
That is a major change for everyone called to jury duty. Thanks to Kurt their jury duty time will be shortened.
